She had previously been clothed as Sister Mary Magdalen on 1760 9 Sep, aged 18, before leaving on 1762 7 Aug. As such, she did not have to repeat the postulancy.

She professed 2 Jul 1789.

She was the great niece of Elizabeth Erington.
She was the half-sister of Mary Stapleton, Charlotte Stapleton.
She was the kinswoman of Barbara Clavering, Anne Barbara Clavering.
