Her brother-in-law was Richard Weston, 1st earl of Portland, the Lord Treasurer.

Listed as one of three unmarried daughters of these parents, Anne, Barbara and Jeronima in Stirnet, following Visitation of Essex. Probably named after the wife of her uncle Charles Waldegrave, Jeronima Jerningham.
