Born: 1729 in Penistone, Yorks.
Died: 12 Aug 1816 in Abbots Salford, Warws.

Benedictines choir nun.

She professed 1756.

Abbess 1792 - 1802

Imprisoned at Compiègne during the French Revolution.

She was from a Border family and had relatives who died in the battle of Culloden (Birt 1913, p232).
