She was the sister of Frances Babthorpe, Elizabeth Babthorpe, Marie Babthorpe.
She was the cousin of Grace Constable, Grace Palmer , Ursula Palmes, Frances Constable, Barbara Constable.
She was the granddaughter of Grace Babthorpe.
She was the niece of Barbara Babthorpe.

Two of her uncles, Ralph and Thomas Babthorpe, were Jesuits, whilst another, Robert Babthorpe, was a Benedictine.
