Frances Ward , in religion Teresa of Jesus.
Born: 1590.
Died: 11 Apr 1649, aged 59.

Spent six years (1613-1619c) as sub-prioress in Cracow.

father: Marmaduke Ward of Mulwith, nr Ripon, Yorks
mother: Ursula Wright of Holderness, Yorks

Carmelites, Antwerp choir nun.
She arrived 1619.

She professed 20 Aug 1611, aged 21.[as a choir nun at Mons]

Prioress 1647 - 1649

She was the sister of Barbara Ward, Mary Ward, Elizabeth Ward.
She was the kinswoman of Helena Catesby.

Notes:

Spent some time in Carmel in Cracow where she was sub-Prioress.
